Visiting Where He Did It

Knowing all that we can about what Jesus did of course begins with our study of the Bible. But that knowledge can be greatly multiplied by visiting the locales of the life of Jesus. Jim Wilken Ministries is planning a trip to Israel in 2012 for a group of our supporters to have the life-changing experience of visiting many of the sites that figured prominently in the life and ministry of the Lord: Bethlehem, the place of his birth; Capernaum, the center of his Galilean ministry; the hillside where he delivered the Sermon on the Mount; the Upper Room, where he instituted the Lord's Supper; Gethsemane, where he prayed; Golgotha, where he was crucified; an empty garden tomb, the glory of his Resurrection! As part of our preparation for the 2012 trip to Israel, and for those who might not be able to be part of that tour, we are planning a 2010 trip to what might be the next best thing to visiting the Holy Land itself a trip to the Holy Land Experience in Orlando, Florida this fall. The five day excursion, via motor coach, will include three nights in Orlando, two days admission to the Holy Land Experience, and one day admission to Walt Disney World's Epcot Center. Preaching Engagement

Jim will be preaching at the New Covenant Church in Marion, NC on Sunday March 21.  The service of worship for the Lord's Day will begin at 10:30 a.m.  New Covenenat welcomes all guests to their service.

New Covenant Church is located at 97 Clay ST in Marion, one block west of East McDowell Jr. High School, at the intersection of Clay and State Streets.
